wow. I mean... oh my. words just cannot fathom how amazing this movie really was. All of that waiting, two years and 8 hours waiting line, mind you, was worth it. So worth it. It's been a long time of waiting and obsessing. which, if you know me, means my everything. Katniss is just amazing. But I'll explain all this in another blog post I'm sure(: So there I was, waiting for over 8 hours in a line with fellow fans of the series. Some didn't even read the book! shame. I made some new friends, and saw a ton of friends from the past(: it really was heartwarming. Even though we all haven't seen each other in a LONG while, (I'm talking seventh grade) we all still have The Hunger Games in common. and we all love it so very very much <3 It was great seeing them all again! eeeep! Since I was dressed in my usual Katniss costsume-- which was made fun of during Halloween-- I had a fan club !!!! All the pain during October simply washed away! I came to the theatre kinda.. well... a little scared to wear my costume! Yet I am a huge fan of the Hunger Games, and wanted to show my pride. I'm so glad I did(: It happened as soon as I emerged from the car into the line. Yes, people began to stare-- but not in mocking me, no. In pure shock and amusement. I felt all eyes one me. My mom swears she heard cheering towards me, and applause all around(: It was a beautiful moment <3 I felt so respected! oh the joy! Those new friends waiting in line with me, were telling everyone I really WAS Katniss! haha!!! That they were my fanclub! Though I did keep in character! XD Another group of girls in line- about ten feet away- were all huddled together over a HG featured magazine. According to my dad--also in line with me-- they were shifting their eyes from me.. to that magazine.. muttering.. "she kinda looks like Jennifer Lawrence." LOL do I really? someone please tell me XD I had many pictures taken of me(; so the wait in line was even fun!!My newly found friends and I walked around the entire building of the movie theater, to find people lined up all around it. circling it. o_o and we had a spot about seventh in line!!!!! I got a great spot in line, thanks to my dad(: Finally, the line was up and moving. I really don't think the movie theatre expected such a huge turn out! they really weren't prepared. We started moving at about 11. My ticket was for 12:15. By then, we really should of been in line inside the theatre. Now were were standing. blah. that part was not fun for my back, or my legs. Once they did let us in, the whole place went haywire! insane! people taking off in different directions, running to their theater XD my dad and I ran past a group heading to our theater. I felt like Katniss <3 The place was nearly 1/3 empty. I took off ahead to find a great seat, right in the center, in the middle to the audio(: perfect.
Then the movie starts after about a million commercials. Me and the girls sitting next to me all cried and cheered and the exact same moments haha! I pretty much sobbed when I saw the Lionsgate logo appear on screen. That moment said "the waiting is over. this is real. the time is now." So I cried. the start was perfect. so classic Katniss/Prim moments. Oh, I suppose I should talk about the movie now?? :D

I freaking loved this movie. Best book to a movie to ever exist. Since Suzanne Collins helped co-write this, you really can't go wrong. She really had it her way, and it really showed. Jennifer was AMAZING as Katniss Everdeen. Her face, her personality. EVERYTHING. wonderful Katniss. In every possible way imaginable.
Please see this movie. please? pretty please??
AND MAY I ADD, the Hunger Games is now the number one book, album AND movie in America. How about THAT!? so amazing. it brings tears to my eyes to see this wonderful novel and series get the attention is deserves :)
